Full Description

A mound of dome-shape which looks very much like a barrow, situated amid ridge and furrow. {2} This mound, as described above, is situated amid rig and furrow. Its exact nature or purpose could not be ascertained, but its size and topographical position are out of keeping with other tumuli in north Lincolnshire. {1} A windmill mound lying amid ridge-and-furrow levelled in 1983, overlay the middle of two ridges. {3}
