Full Description
Earthworks of a possible medieval quarry, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1}
A levelled platform area was noticed here in 1997, during an investigation of the adjacent moated feature (see PRN 40758); there is some speculation that this is the site of the original manor house at Mareham le Fen. {2}
