Full Description

PRN 42122 The original 15th century church of St Mary was demolished in 1854 and rebuilt in greenstone. The present church incorporates medieval label-stops, and a Perpendicular tower arch and three-bay arcade having octagonal piers and double-chamfered arches.{1} Stained glass in this church dates to the 15th century. A bishop saint and St Giles in the International Style date to the first half of the 15th century.{2} A parish church with reused 14th century stonework, which underwent alterations in the 15th century and rebuilding in 1854 to 1855.
