Full Description

Raithby Hall was built in 1776 to 1779 for Robert Carr Brackenbury and underwent later additions. It has a plain chapel completed in 1779 and was dedicated to John Wesley. {1}{2}{3} Raithby Hall is a Grade II listed former small country house. It was the seat of the Brackenbury and Rawnsley families and is now an old persons home. It was built in about 1760, extended in about 1848 and 1873 by Sir George Gilbert Scott and underwent minor alterations in he 20th century. {4}
