PRN 41643 The church is in the transitional style and the six bay arcade dates to at least 13th century. Also retains decorated and perpendicular features. The chancel was pulled down in 1706. There is a twelfth century coped slab located in the north-east chapel. {1}{2}{3}{4} Stained glass in this church dates to the 14th century. {5} For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {6} The church is an ancient structure, consisting of tower, nave and aisles but formerly had a chancel. On the floor there is a brass dated 1520 which reads 'pray for the sowle of Wyllm Palmer with ye stylt, who deceased on Holyrode day, in the year MDLX'. {7}
