PRN 41642 Remains of a churchyard cross with the original base inscribed 1600 MB. More recently restored as a war memorial. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}{2}{3}{4} The war memorial at Ingoldmells stands in the churchyard of the Church of St Peter and St Paul. Unveiled in 1920, the memorial is a restored churchyard cross, of which only an ashlar square base remained. The base had been used as a sundial and had a date of 1600 on it. A new tapering shaft surmounted with a calvary was added to the base along with four wide stone steps. The memorial honours the fallen of the First World War and further names were added after the Second World War. {5}
