The church dates almost entirely to the last quarter of the 15th century. {1} A proud marshland church which is Perpendicular in date (1180AD to around 1520AD) apart for a few details. {2}{3}{4} The Church of St Peter and St Paul is a Grade I listed parish church, built in about 1500 of limestone ashlar, greenstone rubble and some red brick. The church was altered in 1702 and the late 18th century, and was restored in about 1871. {5}
