Full Description

PRN 41342 For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} Little Grimsby Hall was built for the Nelthorpe family in about 1700. Brick with stone quoins, it has seven by four bays and has two storeys. {2}{3} A building survey was undertaken on the north range of Little Grimsby Hall prior to the demolition of the north range, and a watching brief was undertaken after demolition, prior to development. The northern wing appears to have been built from the reused brick of an earlier structure on this site dating to the late 17th to early 18th century. A foundation for this was uncovered by the watching brief. The structure which was surveyed dated to the late 18th or 19th century. {4}{5}
