PRN 41206
St Helen's Church has an Early English west tower and south arcade. It is mostly Early English but has Decorated north aisle windows and Perpendicular pinnacles in the tower. The bench ends date from 1530 to 1535 and are initialled and have poppyheads as decoration. In the west nave is a late Anglo-Saxon interlace slab in a figure of eight. {1}{2}{3}
The late Anglo-Saxon stone is part of a grave cover (PRN41202) {7}
Stained glass in this church dates to about 1350 to 1375 AD. {5}
A parish church with features dating from the 13th century. The church underwent alterations in the 14th and 16th centuries and in 1732. It was restored in 1903.
