Full Description

PRN 35066 ALTHOUGH NO DISCRETE ROMANO-BRITISH FEATURES WERE IDENTIFIED IN THE AREA OF LAND ADJACENT TO HALL FARM, ARTEFACTS FROM THE PERIOD WERE THINLY SCATTERED ACROSS THE SITE. MOREOVER, THE DISTRIBUTION OF THIS MATERIAL SHOWS A BIAS TOWARD THE NORTHERN AND WESTERN PARTS OF THE INVESTIGATION AREA. THIS POSSIBLY SIGNIFIES A ROMANO-BRITISH SITE NORTH-WEST OF THE SITE TOWARDS THE JUNCTION OF THE TWO ROMAN ROADS, KING STREET AND THE BASTON OUTGANG. {1}{2}
