Full Description
During a trial trenching evaluation at Salter's Way in 1993, redeposited Early Neolithic and Bronze Age worked flints were recovered from the subsoil. {1}{2}
A broken Neolithic flint blade and a waste flake of possible Bronze Age date were found on the surface of the ploughsoil during monitoring of geo test pits and boreholes in September-November 2012. {3}{4}
During a programme of systematic fieldwalking of the proposed route of the Grantham Southern Relief Road in February 2013, an undiagnostic Prehistoric worked flint and a Neolithic blade flake were recovered as surface finds from ploughed fields in this area. {5}{6}
