THIS RECORD REPRESENTS THE IRON AGE REMAINS IDENTIFIED DURING AN EXCAVATION AT CREETON QUARRY WHICH HAS REVEALED A METALWORKING SITE WITH EVIDENCE FOR IRON SMELTING AND SMITHING. THE DATE RANGE IS 550 BC TO 100 AD. {1}{2}
