Full Description

Romano-British settlement site, visible as a cropmark, Morton. The site was investigated as part of the Fenland Project in the 1990s. They found that the site extended over a small roddon on a flat clay surface. Surface finds extend beyond the limit of the visible crop or soil marks. A small quantity of burnt stone was found. {1}{2}{3}
