Full Description

Iron Age saltern site in Morton. The site extends over a small roddon on the flat clay surface of the area. The site is visible as a cropmarl/soilmark in aerial photograph, and it was identified using fieldwalking during the Fenland Project. The identified artefact scatter is larger than the soilmark. A small quantity of burnt stone was found. {1}{2}{3}
