Full Description

C16, built of limestone, with chimney stacks closely resembling those of the manor house. In 1971 the Collyweston slated roof was stripped off & replaced with concrete tiles. {1} The Crown Inn and its attached barn are Grade II Listed buildings built in the early 17th century with alterations in the 19th century. {2} The Copper Barns, Bitchfield and Bassingthorpe. Extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. Additional, prominent detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {3}
