Full Description

An Early English to Perendicular church restored in 1890 and 1851. In normal use. {1}{2}{3}{4} A parish church with features dating from the mid 12th century. There are also late 12th, late 13th, 14th and 15th century stonework and the church was restored in 1860. It is built of limestone ashlar and coursed ironstone rubble with some render. There are lead and plain tile roofs with stone coped gables. There is a 15th century tie beam nave roof with curved braces, ornate foliate bosses and stone corbel figures. There is also a pink and cream marble monument to the Parker family, dated about 1833. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {6}
