PRN 30605 This is a good complete church of the late 15th century. {1}{2} This church stiil stands and has a burial ground to east. It has a suggested foundation date of 1133-56, but could be a pre-Conquest foundation. Most of the church building is late 14th to 15th century. In 1473 the chancel was described as ruinous and rebuilding was carried out from 1482 onwards. {3} This is a good complete church of 1480-83 with a partly enlarged west tower. The Cecil family chapel was enlarged in 1865. The windows have 15th century glass which mostly came from Tattershall and Snape and was set up around 1758. There is a monument to William Cecil, Lord Burghley, who died in 1598 and also a 14th century font.
