Full Description
A vicarage was described as being on the eastern side of High Street in 1402. A manse was noted in 1535, and wasdescribed in some detail in 1582. In 1631 there was no vicarage house, but in 1635 there was noted a vicarage and barn on the western side of High Street. Repairs to the barn were noted in 1776. Coins and architectural remains were reportedly found in 1872, when the western end of the railway was constructed. {1}
