PRN 30496 A church was recorded in Domesday Book. The present building is late 12th century to Perpendicular with some 11th century masonry in the chancel. Cox refers to the foundations of the preconquest church.{1}{2}{3} The Church of St Wulfram is a Grade I listed church. The north aisle arcades, except for the two west bays, date from before 1180 and the north aisle was rebuilt in about 1250. The papers covered the development of the church (Philip Dixon), a study of the tower and spire (John Maddison) and an essay on the architecture, the patronage and the context of the church (John McNeill). {8}
