PRN 30432 Norman to Perpendicular. West tower dating to about 1200, has top dated to 1638. Chancel early C18.{1}{2} Full description of church and funerary monuments of Brownlow and Cust families.{4} Church in Belton at time of the Domesday Book, on demesne land.{5} Medieval stained glass in this church dates variously to 1520-40 AD, 1525-50 AD, about 1550 AD (the Royal Arms of England), and the late 16th-17th centuries. The glass includes ten Netherlandish roundels, ovals and rectangular panels.{6}
