Full Description

Grade II listed chest tomb, dating from 1927 and by Sir Edwin Lutyens to Adelbert Cust, 5th Baron Brownlow, of Belton House. It is made of portland stone and slate. It is a cruciform chest with a moulded base and cornice and is set on a cove-moulded plinth. The chest has inscriptions and a coat of arms in relief on each side.
