Full Description
Field opposite Surfleet church ploughed for the first time in 1963. Perhaps an 18th century brick-making site. Quantity of old bricks, some part fired, plus presence of various pits in the area suggests some former brick-working in the area. {1}{2}{3}
Medieval pottery was also found on this site (see MLI22467).
