Full Description

RB gritted dark grey ware, colour-coated and samian, per G Hopkinson. Found 1964.{1} Recorded as found TF175310.{2}{3}{4} SCATTERS OF POTTERY, FIRED CLAY, QUERN, CLAY BALLS. BURNT LIMESTONE AND BUILDING RUBBLE AND POSSIBLE RB TILE. THE SITE IS WITHIN A DARK SOIL STAIN ON SILT RODDON. THE DISTINCT SCATTERS SEEM TO FORM A VILLAGE-LIKE GROUP.
