Full Description
One of several mounds at Crowland listed as tumuli by Canham. Probably most are mill mounds. See OS 25' 1904 for published entry of Windmill (corn) at TF23820999.{1}{2}{3} This was a mill mound, one of the mill stones is still in the garden of a house, (c 1904) which now stands on the site of the mill and the owner of the house recalls having to remove heavy building stone when laying a lawn.{1} SEE ALSO 20265 - BARROW CEMETERY.
