Full Description
THIS SITE YIELDED CONSIDERABLE AMOUNTS OF POTTERY, AND IS A SALTERN SITE DATING TO THE LATE SAXON AND MEDIEVAL PERIOD. IT IS LOCATED WEST OF THE LATEST SEA BANK. SALT PANS ARE MENTIONED IN THE DOMESDAY BOOK. {1}{2}
