Full Description

The churchyard at the Church of St Mary is depicted on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. It likely dates to at least the 12th century, when the church it serves was built (see PRN 12801). {1} The churchyard is defined by a boundary ditch, which is still largely extant and functioning, and is referred to as the 'Moat'. {2}
