Full Description
Site of a probable Second World War searchlight battery with gun emplacements, to the south of Laughterton. Visible as a tight cluster of three circular enclosures, approximately 8m in diameter, with a larger enclosure 18m in diameter and two smaller enclsoures of 10m and 12m diameter at a distance of 50-70m to the south-west. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
