Full Description
The churchyard at the former Church of St Margaret is depicted on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. It likely dates to at least the 14th century, when the church it served is thought to have been built (see MLI127872). {1}
Whilst the church was demolished in 1973, the churchyard is still extant, though is now densely covered by trees. Many upstanding grave markers and headstones are thought to still survive on the site. {2}
