Full Description
A number of field boundary ditches on land at Abbey Field, Herring Lane, Pinchbeck, identified during geophysical survey in August 2013 and trial trenching in June 2014. No dateable finds were recovered during the trial trenching, but several of the ditches are closely aligned with extant land boundaries, suggesting a Medieval or post-Medieval date. The remains of an infilled creek or palaeochannel were also noted in this area. {1}{2}{3}
