Full Description

A series of apparently intentionally constructed parallel clay ridges were identified on land at Godseys Lane, Market Deeping, during geophysical survey in 2011 and subsequent trial trenching in 2014. The distance between the central point of these ridges was much wider than that of ridge and furrow, up to 15m in places, and no corresponding furrows were identified. At this time their construction date and function are unknown. {1}{2}{3}
