A geophysical survey was conducted on land at Godseys Lane, Market Deeping, to inform a proposed residential development. In the north of the surveyed area, possible east-west aligned ridge and furrow was encountered, along with a short ditch segment on the same alignment. Widespread discrete pit-like features were also encountered across the site. Larger areas of anomalies in the centre of the survey area were considered to be possibly geological in origin, though an archaeological explanation was not discounted. {1}
