Full Description

Field systems of probable Late Iron Age or Romano-British date were recorded on land to the west of Caistor High Street, South Willingham, during geophysical survey in 2008. This comprised a long north-south aligned ditch with a series of perpendicular ditches forming a row of fields to the west of Caistor High Street. At the recorded southern extent of this system a curvilinear ditch and a ring ditch with a diameter of c.10m were recorded. {1}
