Below-ground remains of Medieval or post-Medieval ridge and furrow were encountered during trial trenching in 2013 and strip, map and record in 2014, on land at Churchill Avenue, Horncastle. The revealed furrows were north-south aligned to the north and east-west aligned further south. {1}{2}{3}{4}
