Full Description

The former agricultural outbuildings forming the working part of Village Farm, Lea. The buildings were the subject of a historic building survey in March 2020. These buildings formed the west and south ranges of an L-shape farmyard complex around an open crewyard. Both buildings were red brick under a gabled roof. The south range was formerly a stable and hayloft. The west range has undergone significant alteration and had in the 20th century been used as a garage. Its original use is uncertain, but it may have been a cart shed. {1}{2}
