Abstract/Summary
Archive for a historic building survey undertaken to inform the proposed conversion to domestic use of two former agricultural outbuildings at Village Farm, Lea. These buildings formed the west and south ranges of an L-shape farmyard complex around an open crewyard. Both buildings were red brick under a gabled roof. The south range was formerly a stable and hayloft. The west range has undergone significant alteration and had in the 20th century been used as a garage. Its original use is uncertain, but it may have been a cart shed.
