Full Description

A ring ditch representing a possible barrow was identified in a 2018 geophysical survey to the immediate south of a Scheduled barrow (MLI30081). {1]} The ring ditch measures approximately 12m in diameter although it straddles a post-medieval to modern hedged field boundary, so the exact shape is uncertain due to potential interference. In addition to the Scheduled barrow, the ring ditch is in close proximity to a system of pit alignments (MLI125725), and a large scatter of Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age flint implements (MLI34844).
