Full Description
Several surviving areas of aligned ridge and furrow were noted across the area subject to geophysical survey, and then later confirmed by archaeological trial trenching. The survival of the ridge and furrow is not uniform, with later more modern ploughing likely truncating many remains. The features form a large irregular open field system characteristic of later medieval or early post-medieval date. {1}{2}{3}
