Full Description
A series of shallow undated features comprising a pit, a gully and a ditch encountered on land immediately to the south of Witham Road, Woodhall Spa, during an archaeological evaluation in . These features may be associated with the adjacent late 19th century 'Gate House'. {1}{2}
During a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording in February 2019, two pits, a gully and a ditch were encountered. It is unclear if these are the same features identified in the previous evaluation. {3}{4}
