Full Description
A series of prehistoric features were revealed on land at Poplar Farm, Grantham, during trial trenching in 2016. Two pits, two post holes, and a single east-west aligned ditch were identified. These features were tentatively dated to the mesolithic or early neolithic periods. A number of flint finds were recovered from the ditch, including a blade core, the mesial sections of two prismatic blades, and ten flint flakes. {1}{2}
