Full Description
Traces of probable ridge and furrow were identified during magnetometry survey on land off Low Road, Barrowby, in October 2019. They were recorded as a series of parallel linear magnetic anomalies, aligned on a roughly east-northeast to west-southwest axis. No evidence of the earthworks remains above ground, the site having previously been used for allotment cultivation. A subsequent programme of trial trenching on the same site was unable to positively identify the ridge and furrow. {1}{2}{3}
