Title Trial Trenching on Land off Low Road, Barrowby
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2019

Abstract/Summary

Archive for a programme of trial trenching undertaken to inform the proposed construction of a residential development. Nine trial trenches were excavated at land off Low Road, Barrowby. A single undated linear ditch feature was identified, though no other archaeologically significant features, deposits or finds were encountered. The ditch is northwest-southeast aligned and does not respect modern field boundaries, suggesting it may be a boundary ditch of some age.
