Full Description

The Boston Corn Exchange was constructed in 1855 as a 93 feet by 49 feet hall. The building also comprised a committee room, two waiting room and offices. {1} The building was sold to the Boston Scala Theatre Co., Ltd. In 1920 and converted into a cinema. {2} The building was sold again in 1960 to the adjacent Marks and Spencers and was demolished by 1962 to create a rear extension for the shop. {3}{4}
