Full Description

Two storey orange brick building in English Garden Wall bond with bullnosed brick door jambs and building corners, under a hipped pantile roof. Internally it comprises a 6 bay cartshed on the ground floor, open to the south, with a dovecote and granary above. The dovecote is at the western end of the building, and has brick nesting boxes on all four walls, with projecting half-bricks providing roosting ledges. An arched opening with a stone sill and header lintel in the south elevation provided access for the birds. The granary has 5 windows on the north and south elevations, each with the remains of hit-and-miss ventilators. This building appears to have been the most recent addition to the farmstead. {1}{2}{3}
