Full Description
Several redeposited sherds of Roman pottery were recovered in August 2022, during the excavation of a research test pit to the rear of 22 Mulberry Avenue. The assemblage was recovered from a likely post-medieval buried soil layer, and was comprised of two pieces of Samian ware, with five pieces of probable Roman greyware. {1}
