Full Description
Pair of attached mortuary chapels at Grantham Cemetery, linked by an archway and a shared roof structure. They were built in 1857, in a Decorated Gothic style, and consist of an Anglican chapel at the southern half with a nonconformist chapel at the northern half. The chapels are built of ashlar limestone, and feature traceried windows and steeply pitched roofs. A slender broach spire is attached to the southern chapel, adjacent to the arch, which carries the main access roadway through to the crematorium. {1}{2}{3}
