Full Description
Two linear features were recorded in this location in May 2015, during magnetometry survey of land to the north of Burgh Road. The features were recorded as linear magnetic anomalies, running parallel to each other on a roughly north-east to south-west alignment. {1}
The features were resolved as the remains of former ditches in May 2015, during a subsequent programme of trial trenching on the site. It was thought possible that the ditches represent the remaind of former field boundaries, although no finds were recovered from their fills, and their exact date and function remains uncertain. {2}{3}
