Full Description

A former weigh machine office at Old Leake railway station, which was opened in October 1848, and was closed to all traffic in 1964. The building was located in the former goods yard area, on the western side of the Hobhole Drain. It was constructed of red brick, and featured a slate roof with a chimney at the north end. Entrance was via a door in the south wall. The office was extant in 1966, but has since been demolished. {1}{2}
