Full Description

A former station house and ticket office for Old Leake Railway Station, which was opened in October 1848, and was closed to all traffic in 1964. The building is of two storeys, with several single-storey additions to the north-eastern side. It is of red brick with yellow brick at the corners, now largely whitewashed. The roofs were originally of pitched slate with long protruding eaves, although the covering seems to have been replaced with tiles. The building is now in use as a private residence. {1}{2}
