Full Description

Signal box at Sibsey Railway Station, which was opened in October 1848, and was closed to all traffic in 1964. The box is still extant, being located on the eastern side of the railway line, adjacent to the level crossing. The building is of two-storeys, and is constructed of timber laid on a brick foundation. The roof is of pitched slate and there is an external staircase to the main room attached to the northern wall. {1}{2}
