Full Description

A former goods depot at Kirton Railway Station. The station was on part of the Lincolnshire Loop line, which was constructed by the Great Northern Railway in October 1848. The building was constructed of red brick and featured a slate roof. There were pillasters, canopies and two sliding doors to both the east and west walls, and access from the railway siding on the eastern side. The building was extant in 1966, when it was used as a coal depot by a local coal merchants business, but was demolished at some point before the Boston to Algarkirk Diversion road was constructed in 1991. {1}
